Dear Friends and Neighbors, I am running for re-election as Mayor of the Village. Although running without any formal opposition, I thought it appropriate to briefly set forth the progress we have made in areas of critical importance to the Village. These accomplishments required the effort and commitment of many individuals. As Mayor, I helped motivate and encourage teams of people, Trustees, volunteers, residents and employees, to work together for the benefit of the Village. We have more to do:
When these projects are completed, we will have come a long way toward assuring the long-term prosperity and vitality of our Village. In addition to these large scale undertakings, as Mayor I have also been responsible for the numerous day-to-day matters inherent in the running of the Village ranging from security to fire safety, from maintenance to health, from budget oversight to recreation, all of which contribute to the well-being of the Village and its residents and make Saltaire the special place it is. I hope I have earned your confidence. Thank you for your support. |
