2005 October Northeast Storm

For roughly a week in mid-October 2005, Saltaire endured a memorable Northeast storm.
The storm brought heavy rains, high tides, big surf and wind that did significant damage to the beach.
Several walks were under water and downtown, Brodkin Park and the field were both flooded.

Happily, when the storm finally ended, the water subsided rapidly
and it was seen that except for the beach no significant damage had been done.

The going was difficult but the storm did not stop the school busses.
